The role combines a blend of high level architecture, design and analysis but the ability to roll your sleeves up and involve yourself in datawarehousing data and modelling will be required.
The business is moving from a dated SQL database with Business Objects to an Oracle database using OBIEE as the Business Intelligence tool. Knowledge of Oracle databases and OBIEE will therefore be important and knowledge of SQL server and Business Objects will be beneficial.
You will need to engage with the IT department as well as business users to ensure that the change process is smooth and that you understand the business needs to enable the best fit for purpose designs and architecture can be achieved.
The salary is £55,000 £60,000 plus an excellent bonus and benefits.
