Application Support Unix & Oracle, London - (nearest tube Liverpool Street). You must come from consultancy background, experience of implementing systems, strong technical experience of Product Support including technical skills in Unix (including Shell Scripting & Unix application installation) & Oracle or SQL or any RDBMS (Experienced DBA skills not essential but familiarity with installation, sizing & performance) systems development in VB or Java or Perl or C++, recent experience of the financial market place ie Market Data, Fixed Income products & derivatives in terms of the underlying data, experience of complex product installation, experience of systems interfacing or data migration between systems with mapping tools or bespoke solutions, excellent verbal & written communication skills within a client facing environment.
Role involves:
Providing consultancy & specialist knowledge product support, systems implementations, define & scope configuration, interfacing & enhancement work, undertake setup & configuration of product, data mapping tools & definition of data required from clients systems, install & customize components on client site including testing & support, etc. Please send in your CV ASAP for more information and a full job spec.
