Job Description

A business analyst is required to work within Custody at a major investment bank. The Business Analyst will be responsible for documenting the current operational process of Global Custody and Sub-Custody operations. When complete they will be required to review the current functional requirements of the proposed Global and Sub-Custody platforms and working with the operations managers document the end state operating model and the associated phases of delivery aligned to the programme of work being undertaken. The following is required for this role: * Proven experience in a cross functional (Business and IT) business process analysis. * Previous experience in documenting multi-site cross functional operational processes. * Exposure to all stages of an operational life cycle from initial analysis through to specification and design, development and testing through to implementation and training. * Ability to prioritise work to successfully deliver service to agreed levels in a diverse and constantly changing environment * Capability to communicate intelligently and effectively with business line representatives or remote staff. * Communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate questions and discussion points across multiple operational sites. * Strong customer focus * Understand and interpret complex business and IT processes * Proven ability to prioritise competing demands
