TCL/LJ 12250: Our client seeks a P/T Project Management Coordinator for an assignment within its Community & Environment Services division.

We are acting for a NW London based local authority

The post will be located in Harrow, HA1 and will be for 24 hpw, Mon-Fri, during normal business hours. It is expected that you will be required to work approximately 3 days per week, negotiable.

This is anticipated to be, initially at least, a 3 to 4 month assignment.

Please note that under a special arrangement we have with a leading umbrella company, temps who elect to get paid under this route will receive, in addition to a higher hourly rate of pay, the following benefits which are not available under PAYE:

Essence of role:

You will be engaged to oversee a review of the efficiency of the Council's parking services.

You will consult service users and analyse the effectiveness of operations. You will work with the project sponsor to ensure delivery of the already agreed project brief. Support for financial advice, research and administration is already established and service managers are expeceted to make a significant contribution.

Previous knowledge of parking services is not necessary as this will be available from within the Council and from peers who will be invited to contribute to the review.

Candidate requirements (*indicates must be CLEARLY EVIDENT FROM YOUR CV, not just your covering letter, to avoid auto-rejection by client) include:

*Demonstrable Report Writing skills essential

*IT literate in MS Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook

*Effective interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written

*Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative

*Ability to work under pressure with excellent time managing skills

*Customer Service orientated

UK local authority or other public sector experience advantageous, but not a prerequisite

Any parking services related experience a bonus and could usefully be stated on your CV
